Large and Small O-Rings: industrial solutions by Oringone and EZTRA

Some follow a standard.
Others try to go beyond it.
At OringOne, innovation does not simply mean doing something new.
It means looking closely at what already exists, understanding it and asking whether there is a better way to do it.
This mindset has shaped our company from the beginning.
OringOne was founded through the development of an innovative production method for large-size O-Rings and, over time, has built its identity around four key principles: industrial innovation, quality, automation and continuous improvement.
For us, going beyond a standard does not mean ignoring it.
It means knowing it well enough to understand where there is still room for improvement. Innovation as a business culture At OringOne, innovation is not an abstract idea. It is a practical way of developing products, processes and solutions.
We operate in the O-Ring and industrial sealing solutions sector, with a strong focus on non-standard products and special applications.
Over time, this specialization has enabled us to build a distinctive position in our industry by combining technical expertise, advanced production processes, material knowledge and the ability to respond to requirements that often call for customized solutions.
In our latest Sustainability Report, we also describe a further step in this journey: the launch of the EZTRA® Factory, dedicated to the production of small-size customized O-Rings, including solutions made with special materials and tailor-made geometries.
For us, this is what evolution means. Not changing for the sake of change. But continuously creating new possibilities. Quality is not the finish line.
At OringOne, quality is not simply the final result of a production process. It is a discipline that shapes how we work.
Our industrial model includes integrated management systems covering quality, environment, energy, occupational health and safety, creating a structure focused on monitoring, measurement and continuous improvement.
This approach is reflected throughout our production process.
Our O-Rings are checked during manufacturing and undergo certified final inspections, helping us ensure compliance and reliability even in demanding applications.
That is why, when we talk about industrial excellence, we are not describing a slogan. We are describing the ability to build processes that make quality repeatable, measurable and continuously improvable.

Improvement starts with measurement
In our latest Sustainability Report, we chose to disclose our environmental, social and governance impacts using international frameworks such as the GRI Standards, while adopting an approach aligned with the double materiality logic introduced by the CSRD and ESRS.
For us, this choice has a clear meaning.
Measurement means looking not only at what has already been achieved, but also at where there is still room to improve. It means turning corporate sustainability into a process based on data, priorities, responsibility and concrete actions.
Sustainability is therefore not separate from our business strategy. It is part of the way we manage and develop our company.
People are part of how we innovate
Technology matters. Processes matter. Technical skills matter. But innovation would not be possible without the people who observe, learn, solve problems and help us improve the way we work every day.
In our latest Sustainability Report, we describe our workforce as one of the pillars of our business and explain our commitment to creating a positive working environment that is safe and able to enhance people's value.
According to our latest reporting data, our overall workforce consisted of 72 people, including direct employees and agency workers. But the figure alone tells only part of the story.
What matters most is what growth means to us.
For OringOne, growth also means creating the right conditions for people to develop skills, autonomy and awareness.
Training and skills development
In our latest Sustainability Report, we recorded 566 hours of training covering occupational health and safety, job-specific skills, soft skills, time management, stress management, rubber technology and ESG sustainability.
This reflects a simple principle: professional skills cannot remain static.
They must evolve alongside processes, technologies, customer requirements and market changes. For this reason, we see continuous training as one of the tools that helps us preserve and strengthen our ability to innovate.
Because a company improves when its people are given the opportunity to improve as well.
Safety and well-being as part of our industrial model
To build a strong organization, growth also has to be sustainable for people.
OringOne operates an occupational health and safety management system certified according to UNI EN ISO 45001:2018.
Our approach goes beyond recording workplace accidents.
We also analyze near misses, identifying potentially dangerous situations even when they do not result in an accident, so that preventive and corrective measures can be introduced. Sustainability Report Oringone …
Our latest Sustainability Report also describes several initiatives related to work-life balance, including the absence of night shifts, limits on overtime, voluntary Saturday overtime and flexible working hours when necessary.
These are also part of our understanding of corporate responsibility.
Sustainability means turning data into action
For us, sustainability begins with the ability to measure impacts and use that information to make better decisions.
In our latest Sustainability Report, we describe how we monitor energy consumption, emissions, resource use and waste management.
According to our latest reporting, approximately 95% of the waste generated was directed to recovery or reuse, while 100% of rubber processing waste was sent for reuse in cement plants.
These figures describe a tangible commitment to circular economy principles and more responsible resource management.
At the same time, we continue to measure our impacts in order to identify further opportunities for improvement.
Because sustainability is not a static result. It is an ongoing process.

A short supply chain built on relationships
Our relationship with suppliers is also part of our business model. In our latest Sustainability Report, we state that 100% of our main raw material suppliers are located within 20 km of our company.
A short supply chain means shorter transport distances, greater proximity and stronger connections with the local industrial ecosystem.
It can also help build more direct and long-lasting relationships with suppliers. From our perspective, innovation and responsibility do not stop at the factory gates.
They involve the entire ecosystem in which a company operates.
Our territory is part of our identity
OringOne was founded in Grumello del Monte, Bergamo, Italy, in an area with a strong industrial tradition in rubber processing and O-Ring manufacturing. This proximity is more than an industrial advantage. It is part of who we are.
Our latest Sustainability Report also describes our support for the local community through donations and initiatives, because the value generated by a company should not be measured only within its own boundaries.
The connection with our territory, our people and our suppliers contributes to an ecosystem of skills and knowledge that strengthens the entire value chain.
Innovation means refusing to stand still
There is a common thread connecting our history, our products, our processes and our approach to sustainability. It is the belief that no result should ever be considered final.
Industrial quality can be improved. Technology can evolve. Processes can become more efficient. People can develop new skills. Impacts can be measured and reduced. Relationships can become stronger.
For us, this is what continuous improvement means.
And it is perhaps the simplest way to describe who we are.
Meeting standards is not enough.
Curiosity matters.
We identify with people who do not stop at the first answer. People who observe. People who ask questions. People who look for a more effective, precise and responsible way of doing things. People who see a standard not as a limit, but as a starting point. Because every product, every process and every project can be improved.
And it is in the space between what exists today and what could exist tomorrow that we continue to build OringOne.
And we want to keep being among them. If you recognize yourself in this way of thinking, contact us at: people@oringone.com.
