Inside the World of O-Rings: Big, Small and Everything Happening at Oringone

When it comes to O-Rings, size matters. But it is not the only thing that matters.

Every application has its own requirements: different elastomer materials, demanding temperatures, aggressive fluids, high pressures and operating conditions that can vary significantly from one industry to another.

That is where experience makes the difference. At Oringone, we work every day in the world of industrial sealing, handling very different requirements: from large O-Rings, one of our long-standing specialities, to smaller O-Rings with EZTRA.

Think Big. Even when the O-Ring is small.

The name Oringone reflects an important part of our story: thinking big. We manufacture large-diameter O-Rings for industrial applications where a standard solution is often not enough. Large dimensions, special requirements, specific materials and challenging applications all require experience and the ability to identify the right solution.

But the world of O-Rings is not only about large diameters. That is why there is EZTRA, our solution dedicated to smaller O-Rings. Two different worlds with one common goal: providing the right sealing solution for the application, regardless of size.

There is more behind an O-Ring than just a simple ring

At first glance, an O-Ring may look like one of the simplest components in an industrial system. In reality, choosing the right one means considering several different factors.

The O-Ring material must be suitable for the fluid it will come into contact with. Temperature can affect its behaviour. Pressure and operating conditions may require specific characteristics.

NBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM and other elastomers are not just acronyms. They are materials with different properties, developed to meet different requirements.

That is why there is no single “best O-Ring”. There is an O-Ring that is best suited to its application.

We do not only talk about products

Oringone is also about people, projects, meetings and new ideas. A lot happens during the year: industry events, trade shows, new projects, special applications, developments in materials, meetings with customers and partners, and many opportunities to discover something new about the world of industrial sealing.

These are exactly the stories we want to share more often. Not only technical datasheets and material properties, but also what happens inside and around Oringone.

That is why we created the Oringone newsletter

The Oringone newsletter is our way of staying connected with people who work every day with O-Rings, elastomers and sealing systems. It is a place where we share news, applications, interesting stories and what we are working on, without turning every communication into a technical manual.

Why subscribe to the Oringone newsletter?

From the largest O-Rings to the smallest ones

Whether it is a large-diameter O-Ring developed for a special application or a smaller O-Ring from the EZTRA range, the starting question is always the same: Where will it operate, and what does it need to do?

That is where the search for the right sealing solution begins. And this world of elastomer materials, dimensions, applications, people and projects is exactly what we want to share through our newsletter.

Subscribe to the Oringone newsletter and stay updated on large O-Rings, EZTRA, industrial sealing and everything happening in our world.

Think Big.
