15 Years of OringOne: innovation, quality and passion in the O-Rings industry

The origins of OringOne and the founders’ vision

This year, we celebrate a milestone that goes far beyond the simple passage of time: the 15th anniversary of OringOne, founded on December 2, 2010, after a long decade of experimentation. It all began with an idea: that of Filastro Marchesi, father of the current CEO Eric Marchesi and, together with his brother Luca Marcesi, Head of Production, who first conceived a completely innovative method for manufacturing large-diameter O-Rings. It was an ambitious vision, one that required creativity, determination, and a journey filled with trials, errors, improvements, and insights.

The founders’ vision was rooted in foresight and the ability to be truly visionary, investing in machinery and expertise. This strategic approach was fundamental in driving not only the company’s economic growth but also the foundation for its development during the early years of activity.

In 2010, OringOne was born with the goal of becoming a benchmark in the market for the production of large-diameter O-Rings, using a production system called CO.SM.O. Over time, we expanded our range to include cord production, and since 2024, Oringone has also been producing small-diameter O-Rings with special materials such as FFKM, through the establishment of the EZTRAfactory in Castelli Calepio (BG). The EZTRA® line of FFKM compounds represents our range of ultra-high-performance materials, the result of years of research and development.

FFKM EZTRA® O-Rings are the embodiment of our commitment to high-performance O-Rings production, designed to provide exceptional chemical and thermal resistance while ensuring reliable and long-lasting sealing even in the most extreme operating conditions. From applications in the oil and gas sector to sealing in highly aggressive environments, FFKM Eztra® materials are engineered to guarantee durability, stability, and performance over time.

The EZTRAfactory allows us to offer the widest range of FFKM EZTRA® O-Rings on the market, from the smallest diameters starting at 1.00 mm to O-rings measuring tens of meters, providing complete solutions for every industrial requirement.

Team growth and OringOne values

Over these 15 years, the OringOne team has grown from 5 to 85 members. All the company’s veterans remain deeply connected to its values and history, demonstrating passion, respect, and a collaborative spirit—a natural love for the company that they pass on to younger colleagues.

This commitment is also reflected in the various team-building activities organized, during which employees collaborate outside of daily work routines, creating synergy and valuable shared experiences, alongside celebratory moments such as company dinners and social gatherings.

Additionally, the company organizes communication courses for its employees, aiming to enhance their ability to communicate effectively with one another and foster ongoing team cohesion.

Achievements and innovative products

Another key milestone in Oringone’s history was the registration of the OringOne trademark in 2019, followed by EZTRA in 2024. These trademarks represent not only our corporate identity but also the quality and reliability of our products in the O-Ring market.

OringOne stands out for producing unique O-Rings in various materials, capable of meeting the diverse demands of the industrial market. The continuous development of our compound portfolio has expanded our product offerings, enabling the production of large-diameter O-Rings in NBR, HNBR, VMQ, EPDM, FKM, CR, and FEPM, while small-diameter O-Rings are produced exclusively in FFKM EZTRA® and ETP.

Our laboratory has developed high-performance materials capable of meeting even the most demanding customer requirements. Many of our compounds have received certification from external organizations, making them suitable for the pharmaceutical, food, oil & gas, and energy sectors, ensuring reliability, durability, and high performance.

Thanks to determination and resilience, these successes have become memories and milestones achieved. Our future goals aim to expand Oringone, further grow in the market of large and small O-Rings, and create opportunities for people. From EZTRA small to EZTRA large.

Oringone and the Sealcore Network

Oringone is part of the Sealcore Network, a global network providing a complete 360° service. Through the collaboration of 8 specialized companies and an international distribution network, Sealcore offers the widest and most comprehensive range of industrial seals and technical products.

The Sealcore Network operates across various industrial sectors through 8 companies and 12 locations, including branches and warehouses, ensuring Made-in-Italy quality in the production and sale of high-tech industrial components. The synergy between network companies and their consolidated know-how allows for customized and innovative solutions to meet the needs of clients worldwide.

We are excited to announce the start of operations for the new Sealcore LLC facility in Norwalk, Ohio, relocating from Elyria to the North Central Ohio Industrial Park. Looking ahead, this expansion represents a strategic opportunity for OringOne and the Sealcore Network, strengthening our ability to support global customers with faster response times and advanced technical solutions, while reinforcing our Made-in-Italy identity.

Logistics, shipping, and customer services

OringOne has continuously optimized its shipping processes to ensure fast and reliable service. Thanks to the integration of advanced systems such as Xpress and Xtend, deliveries are now quick and standardized. Since 2013, the company has introduced its first customized Oringone boxes, reflecting attention to product care and customer satisfaction.

OringOne’s digital presence has been further strengthened through a renewed web platform e-commerce, including the official site oringone.com and the e-commerce portal shop.oringone.com. This enables increasingly efficient XPRESS rapid delivery services, meeting the dynamic needs of industries and guaranteeing flexible production and delivery times. Even product packaging is carefully designed: the standard bag contains O-Rings according to our specifications, while the special bag can be customized to meet customer requirements.

Sustainability, integrated management system, and certifications

OringOne is an environmentally conscious company, focusing on energy, waste, and consumption. In 2025, we published our first Sustainability Report, analyzing environmental, social, and governance factors.

We have installed solar panels capable of producing 450 KWH, and over 95% of our waste is recycled. Embracing the principles of Industry 5.0, we constantly reduce CO₂ emissions and optimize material recycling.

Sustainability is not just a goal for us—it is a guiding principle that directs every choice. Our adherence to ISO 14001 standards demonstrates our commitment to minimizing environmental impacts, optimizing resource use, and giving new life to industrial waste.

Furthermore, we implement an Integrated Management System combining quality, environment, health, and safety, complying with the main ISO certifications:

Dear collaborators, partners, and friends,

This year, we celebrate a milestone that goes far beyond the simple passage of time: the 15th anniversary of Oringone, founded on December 2, 2010, after a long decade of experimentation.

It was a period in which we tested our ideas, our determination, and our ability to innovate, ultimately shaping the COSMO production system—the technological heart that still sets us apart today.

It all began with a vision: that of my father, Filastro Marchesi, who first imagined a completely new system for producing large-diameter O-rings. It was an ambitious vision, one that required creativity, courage, and countless tests, errors, improvements, and insights.

My brother Luca and I joined that vision, and together with the invaluable support of our partners, we shared the same passion and desire to create something that did not yet exist in our industry.

Through dedication, perseverance, and the teamwork of all our collaborators, we managed to turn that idea into reality; we created the most innovative production system for large-diameter O-rings, becoming an international point of reference.

These 15 years represent much more than a simple anniversary. They are a testament to what can be achieved when expertise and vision come together, and a group of people believes in something new, working every day to make it tangible.
