Efficiency, Safety, and Sustainability

At OringOne, we believe that an Integrated Management System (IMS) represents an advanced step for a modern and competitive company.

Integrating the various areas of business management into a single system allows us to ensure quality, safety, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency, while complying with international ISO standards and meeting the expectations of our stakeholders.

What is an Integrated Management System?

For us, an Integrated Management System (IMS) is not just a set of rules: it is a strategic approach that brings processes, procedures, and responsibilities together in a coherent way.

Thanks to the IMS, we are able to coordinate multiple ISO certifications, reduce risks and inefficiencies, and improve overall business performance.

An integrated system allows us to manage all QHSE areas — Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, and Energy —t hrough a single, unified management flow.

The ISO certifications integrated into our IMS

Our IMS covers the main QHSE areas:

  • Quality: we improve processes and reduce waste (ISO 9001);
  • Environment: we optimize resources and reduce environmental impact (ISO 14001);
  • Health & Safety: we prevent workplace accidents (ISO 45001);
  • Energy: we efficiently manage energy consumption and costs (ISO 50001).

Thanks to the High-Level Structure of ISO standards, we integrate these areas through shared procedures, simplifying overall management.

Concrete examples include reducing waste through production process controls, recycling and sustainable material management, analyzing “near misses” to prevent accidents, and optimizing machinery to reduce energy consumption.

The role of our QHSE Manager

Our in-house QHSE Manager, Eng. Leonardo Manoiero, is the strategic reference point for the Integrated Management System (IMS). He coordinates all activities related to quality, health & safety, environment, and energy by training staff on best practices and ISO standards, overseeing the implementation of procedures and document management, planning and conducting internal audits to ensure continuous improvement, and supporting top management in defining strategies to reduce risks and costs.

Thanks to his experience, our QHSE Manager ensures that the IMS operates effectively, aligning compliance, efficiency, and sustainability objectives.

Why we integrate our Management Systems

We have chosen to integrate our management systems to achieve tangible benefits: increasing operational efficiency through shared procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ISO standards, reducing business costs by optimizing processes and energy consumption, and opening new markets while strengthening stakeholder trust.

Our IMS also enables us to manage risks and opportunities in a structured way, preventing issues before they become costly and improving the company’s overall sustainability.

How an IMS works in practice

The IMS begins with an analysis of the company context: we assess what we do, how we operate, and who our stakeholders are. We then evaluate risks and opportunities for each process and define the most effective operating procedures.

A practical example is the Control Plan, which establishes specific departmental controls to verify that each product meets required standards.

Documents are managed in an orderly manner, using standardized naming conventions (Document name – Rev – Date), and responsibilities are defined through organizational charts. Our QHSE Manager oversees the entire process, ensuring that all activities are consistent and up to date.

Challenges and how we overcome them

Implementing an IMS requires adapting procedures to ISO standards and training personnel. We address these challenges through full support from top management, continuous training of our team led by the QHSE Manager, and the involvement of external consultants for audits and best practices.

The implementation path includes context analysis, risk assessment, definition of procedures, staff training, internal and external audits, and continuous improvement.

The IMS applied to our O-Rings and High-Performance EZTRA FFKM O-Rings

Our Integrated Management System (IMS) is the structural reference for the design, validation, and performance control of Oringone O-Rings, EZTRA solutions, and high-performance EZTRA FFKM O-Rings. All our products are developed within a system compliant with the main ISO standards, ensuring quality, reliability, safety, and sustainability.

Thanks to the IMS, we define technical requirements and verification criteria consistent with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, ensuring traceability and consistent performance over time. Our O-Rings—including EZTRA FFKM solutions—are subjected to testing and controls that meet ISO requirements and customer-specific application needs, with particular attention to the most demanding operating conditions.

The Added Value of Our IMS

Thanks to our IMS and the work of our QHSE Manager, we enhance our corporate reputation, foster internal collaboration, and optimize resource use.

In summary, our IMS is not just a regulatory requirement, but a concrete strategy to increase efficiency, safety, sustainability, and open new market opportunities.
